About the Course
Back-to-school season isn’t just for kids. While backpacks and pencil cases signal a fresh start for students, adults can also harness this season to reboot their minds, reconnect with their curiosity, and recommit to learning, just for the joy of it. In this inspiring and practical session, we’ll explore what it means to be intellectually well in adulthood. We’ll redefine “learning” beyond classrooms and tests, and instead discover how diving into new ideas, creative projects, and hobbies can reignite your sense of purpose, sharpen your thinking, and lift your spirits. You’ll take a curiosity quiz to uncover what really sparks your interest, and you’ll leave with a 7-day action plan to start your own personal “back-to-school” journey. Whether you’ve always wanted to pick up photography, learn a language, explore a historical event, or finally understand how jazz works, we’ll help you turn intention into action.
Learning Objectives
1. Define intellectual wellness and describe its connection to overall well-being, creativity, and cognitive longevity.
2. Identify personal learning interests using a guided curiosity survey that narrows down areas of meaningful exploration.
3. Create a personalized 7-day action plan to begin one new intellectual pursuit aligned with their goals, interests, or values.
