Centric learning approaches have been instrumental in addressing the ways in which we can have a holistic approach to student-centered learning.

Learning Objectives

Participants will understand African-centered approaches as just one strategy for the Social Justice Youth Development model.
Participants will evaluate the impact of self-awareness, social awareness and global awareness on teaching to the whole student.
Participants will analyze student successes using African-centered approaches for emotional and academic development.
