About the Course
Every day, while caring for vulnerable youth, foster parents can face a host of conflicts between their professional duties and their personal values, known as ethical dilemmas. In the real world and and in the online world, there are opportunities abound for these dilemmas to impact the ways in which we support youth. What choice is a foster parent to make when a dilemma is not easily solved by legalities or state foster parent rules? In this workshop, we discuss a set of tools to help foster parents navigate the gray areas of fostering when the most appropriate decision is not always black & white.
