Trauma Triggers in Youth

About the Course

This workshop is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of trauma triggers in young individuals. Through this workshop, participants will explore what trauma triggers are, how to help youth identify them, strategies to self-regulate when triggered, the concept of de-escalation stations, and proactive ways to support youth through trauma triggers. Participants will gain practical knowledge and tools to effectively respond to and support youth who have experienced trauma.  Throughout the workshop, participants will delve into the profound concept of trauma triggers, gaining a deep understanding of the definition, types, and potential effects they can have on young individuals. By the end of the workshop, participants will emerge with a profound understanding of trauma triggers, along with practical knowledge, tools, and strategies to effectively respond to youth who have experienced trauma.
