Creating A School Wellness Committee
One way to activate a culture of wellness in your school is through a wellness committee. If your school does not have a wellness committee, perhaps consider forming one.

Step 1 - Identify Potential Members
-
Between 6-12 members including school staff, students, families, and community members
-
Members should represent the diversity of the community
-
Look for members with influence in the school and community and with a passion to children's health

Step 2 - Recruiting
-
Reach out to your potential committee members.
-
Committee needs may change over time so be prepared to revisit this step if goals evolve.
