Dr. Christine Kelly Cross

Dr. Christine Kelly Cross, — “Chris Cross” — is passionate about education. She has spent the past three decades as a curriculum developer, trainer and an educational advocate for disadvantaged youth throughout the US.

For much of her career, Dr. Cross served as the Senior Training Officer for the North Central Ohio Regional Training Center at Cuyahoga County Division of Children and Family Services. Dr. Cross trained front line, management and training staff. She also developed curriculum to ensure their success.

Uniquely qualified by a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies, a Masters degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction and a Ph.D in Educational Leadership, Dr. Cross was tapped by the NASA Glenn Research Center to head the office of Education and STEM engagement. While here, she conducted research, reviewed literature, developed curriculum and trained NASA officials on strategies to educate and inspire disadvantaged youth to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) careers.
