Matt Butler, MSSA, LISW-S, LICDC-CS is a Senior Trainer & Consultant with Presidential Consultants, bringing over 20 years of experience as a clinical social worker, educator, and facilitator. With a background spanning child welfare, juvenile justice, and behavioral health, Matt is known for his ability to turn complex challenges into practical, human-centered strategies.

He specializes in social service training, suicide prevention, stigma reduction, and organizational transformation. Whether working with foster parents, clinicians, correctional officers, or social work students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, Matt creates engaging learning experiences that blend insight, compassion, and real-world tools.

His community impact includes helping launch Ashtabula County’s first Maternal Opiate Medical Supports program and its first certified sober-living home for pregnant women. Passionate about prevention, ethics, and sustainable systems change, Matt brings energy, credibility, and a deep belief in the power of people and partnership to every training he delivers.
